Hello there. I am Antara, your author. By day, I hold a doctorate in English literature, but in my imagination, things are not quite so serious. I have always felt that the most important stories might not be those analyzed in lecture halls but the ones we whisper to our children before they drift off to sleep. Therefore, I have traded my academic robes for a storyteller’s quilt and created Little Hearth Stories to be a warm, crackling fire for your family to gather around. I earnestly believe that stories are more than just entertainment. They are the quiet seeds of courage, patience, and wonder that germinate in time. Whether you are navigating the big emotions of a toddler or the adventurous questions of a seven-year-old, there is something here for you.
Stories for your Littlest Dreamers (Ages 2–4): I have two book series for this age group. Featuring Milo the Hedgehog and Pippy the Squirrel, the books have a cozy and gentle tone with some soft lessons. These stories are designed to help your child navigate the ‘big-feeling’ years, where your child will learn about the magic of sharing and patience, finding courage in small moments, self-regulation and understanding their wonderful, big emotions.
Stories for the Blooming Minds (Ages 5–7): As children grow, so do their worlds. I remember getting lost in Puss in Boots when I was six. Therefore witty, adventurous, and spirited, my books for this age group move into the neighborhood, focusing on friendship, nature, problem solving and the joy of community work, and conversation and action that builds language and social confidence. There are two upcoming book series for this category, titled Tales from Tamarind Lane and Adventures of Dima in Pine Hill Town, containing stories that will encourage your young one to explore the world with a curious and kind heart.
A Modern Reading Experience with a Personal Touch
I have tried to ensure that your experience with these books is as seamless and magical as the stories themselves. When you choose a story from my collection, you aren’t just getting a book; you are also getting a thoughtful alternative to traditional screen time:
The Digital Flipbook: My stories come in a flipbook version, designed to feel like a real book on your phone or tablet. It is a beautiful way to ensure that the dreaded screen time is high-quality connection time.
The Hands-on Edition: I also provide an additional printable PDF format for those moments when you want to feel the paper in your hands.
So welcome to my hearth. Step inside, settle in with a blanket, and let’s find a story that fits those little toes.
